Kim Cardwell

Founder/Accountant

Kim found a keen interest in Management Accounting throughout her studies at Charles Sturt University and received her Degree in Business (Accounting/Marketing) in 2014.

Setting her career off to a start working for a large not-for-profit business, it was up to Kim to provide regular reporting to Management and the Board of Directors. From this she has gained valuable experience in how to use data to communicate, showing clearly where even small changes could be made to make a big difference to the whole picture.

It was here where Kim began to develop a mission to pass this knowledge on to those businesses that could not afford the expense of a full time CFO.

Kim gained further experience across a wide range of businesses in her next role within an accounting firm. She worked with many different clients on a daily basis, completing BAS’s and EOFY returns under supervision, and stepping in for clients on a temporary basis who just needed some assistance while their finance staff member was away.

Her mission was fueled further through this experience and so, BookInsights was born.
